Part of being a budget-conscious shopper is stretching your closet staples to fit into more than one season. Booties are so great for this! These faux-suede lace-up cut-out booties are from Fashion Junkee and also come in gray and camel brown. They are SO trendy right now the way they wrap around your ankles with such fun tassel ties. Take them from fall into spring and summer with these style tips: Find an ankle style with some openings in the design whether with a peep toe, cut-outs, or lace-ups. Pair them with shorts. Find some frayed, distressed denim in white, black, or blue jean. Make it a boho look with a summer vest or kimono, duster, wrap, or oversized sweater (for those cool nights). March Instagram Round-up

At the end of every month, I like to post my 4 top favorite #ootd’s (outfits of the day) on my Instagram. Now that I have a blog going, I thought it might be helpful to ’round up’ the looks and list the details below (similar details are listed if the exact piece is not available). I have 7 work styles from March, and 3 weekend ootd’s. The weather in Arizona has been pretty up and down with near 90 degree temperatures to temps in the low 60’s (which then feels freezing!).  I noticed as I was putting this all together that I have been very into stripes, blacks, whites, and blues… pretty normal for me! See all #ootd details below. – – … Read More

Happy Saturday, all! Today I’m featuring a casual tank from Shop Sunday Brunch! This is a new boutique, and I have enjoyed getting to know Angie – the gal behind it all – through Instagram. This racer back tank finishes off a perfect weekend look. I love, no, I mean loooooove going to brunch and I love all brunch foods and drinks, so this tank speaks to me! Styling my “You had me at Brunch” Tank It looks adorable with distressed skinnies, and it will flow right into summer with denim or colored shorts, too. The material is rayon and spandex, so it is soft and comfortable. Outfit Details: Distressed Silver Jeans  |  Brunch Tank (I’m in a Medium)  |  Bucket Bag  | … Read More

Hi all! Happy Sunday! In Arizona, spring has arrived in full force – meaning we are already hitting 90 degrees. This heat is REAL. My husband and I enjoyed a festival in Scottsdale late Saturday afternoon and I just had to share my outfit! I think it ended up being so comfy yet stylish. Whenever E and I plan to attend a local event, I’m one of those girls who has to google for photos to see what everyone usually wears. I like to see a full mix of styles before I pick an outfit. (Self conscious, YES! That’s me!)  Well, for one of the first times EVER, I had this outfit picked out way ahead of time! It is that good! GIRLS! Look … Read More

Lapel Blazer

Some weeks I can hardly WAIT for another weekend! Eric and I usually do an activity whether it’s hiking, brunching (yes I’m calling that an activity, lol!), driving around, enjoying a local event, or hanging out with friends. Right now the weather in Arizona is amazing and is calling for light long sleeves. However, by mid afternoon, I’m ready for short sleeves! A wonderful solution to this dare I say, “problem” – is a casual blazer. I love how it keeps me warm enough while still allowing me to wear short sleeves underneath in case I get too warm. It also kind of dresses up my outfit at the same time – win win! Styling a Lapel Blazer with my Mimosa Tee This … Read More
