Pink Scalloped Dress

You might remember when I shared my love for scallops in this previous post!  I can’t believe there is another scalloped dress in a new shade. How lucky can a girl get to find this gem in such a great summer color?! Top reasons I love scalloped hems: 1. They add a feminine vibe 2. They make a plain dress unique 3. They make it easy to look put-together   This scalloped dress can be as dressy as you want it to be. You could wear it as a wedding guest with sparkling heels like these and a cute statement necklace like this one. I love it as a Sunday dress, too! The nude sandal heels in this post are such a beautiful choice for summer and go so well … Read More

Short Spring Shift Dress

Today I am talking about this colorful number from She In Clothing! I LOVE this dress. The reviews were raving and I am joining right in there with them! This is a short shift dress – perfect for a warm spring or summer date night or perhaps a wedding or special event! It is made of thick material and is also lined. I wore a strapless bra under mine so the straps and bra wouldn’t peep out the sides, but you could also do a stick-on bra or something similar. I spruced up the look with black accessories. My sister was so sweet to give me these fun fringe heels to use for a few months before spring hits Minnesota, and … Read More

Pastel Pink Blouse

During our transitional months from “winter” into spring in Arizona, our evenings are still pretty cool. So, when I look for something to wear on any given date night, I gravitate toward light long sleeves, and sometimes will tote a jacket along just in case. This pastel pink top is from She In, and works perfectly for a spring night out! Styling a Blouse for a Night Out I decided to wear it tucked into some slightly distressed skinnies, and then paired it with some ankle-strap pointy heels. I wore a cami underneath the blouse, as it is shear. The bottom edges of the blouse are straight and flowy, and should you decide to wear it untucked, it flows loosely. The … Read More

The Weekend Dress you NEED

Hi all! Happy Sunday! In Arizona, spring has arrived in full force – meaning we are already hitting 90 degrees. This heat is REAL. My husband and I enjoyed a festival in Scottsdale late Saturday afternoon and I just had to share my outfit! I think it ended up being so comfy yet stylish. Whenever E and I plan to attend a local event, I’m one of those girls who has to google for photos to see what everyone usually wears. I like to see a full mix of styles before I pick an outfit. (Self conscious, YES! That’s me!)  Well, for one of the first times EVER, I had this outfit picked out way ahead of time! It is that good! GIRLS! Look … Read More

Lapel Blazer

Some weeks I can hardly WAIT for another weekend! Eric and I usually do an activity whether it’s hiking, brunching (yes I’m calling that an activity, lol!), driving around, enjoying a local event, or hanging out with friends. Right now the weather in Arizona is amazing and is calling for light long sleeves. However, by mid afternoon, I’m ready for short sleeves! A wonderful solution to this dare I say, “problem” – is a casual blazer. I love how it keeps me warm enough while still allowing me to wear short sleeves underneath in case I get too warm. It also kind of dresses up my outfit at the same time – win win! Styling a Lapel Blazer with my Mimosa Tee This … Read More
